With only one week left in the regular season, four high school football teams in Coral Springs were in action, and one was holding a senior night.
Coral Springs Charter ended their week with a win over Marjory Stoneman Douglas and finished the regular season 4-5. It was also senior night for the Panthers, who recognized Kymani Norris, Michael Chin, Isiah Appolon, Ojani Victoria, Chris Lotruglio, Ashton Abell, Owyn Vargas, Carson Dudich, and Joseph Greene. They previously beat J.P. Taravella, Pompano Beach, Northeast High School, and J.P. Taravella High School.
CSC will play Umatilla High School in their opening playoff game on Friday, November 1, at 7 p.m. The Bulldogs are 5-4 this year and have scored at least 27 points in all their victories.
On Friday, Coral Springs High School lost to Fort Lauderdale High School and fell to 0-8 this season. The Colts will play J.P. Taravella in their final game of the regular season on Friday, November 1 at 7 p.m. The Trojans are also winless this season and have already played a busy week with three games. They lost to Coral Springs Charter on Monday before losing against Goldman High School on Wednesday.
Coral Glades fell to 3-6 this year following their loss against Nova High School on Friday. The Jaguars will play their final regular-season game on Friday, November 1, against Boca Raton Community High School at 6:30 p.m. The Bobcats started the season 6-0 but lost against Cardinal Gibbons High School. However, they won their last game against Spanish River Community High School.
