From the Coral Springs City Commission:

It is hard to believe it is March already, and we are excited about all of the exciting events we have planned in the City of Coral Springs.

On Sunday, March 1, Coral Springs hosts WorldFest from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Sportsplex (2575 Sportsplex Drive). The event features cultural entertainment, cooking demonstrations, inflatables, and amusement rides.

In addition to our roadway clean up hosted every quarter, the City is proud to participate in the annual Broward County Waterway Cleanup on March 7 from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. This is a great way for studcents to earn service hours and families to work together in cleaning up our environment. In 2019, we voted unanimously to rename 94th Avenue, between Sample Road and 31th Court and located east of City Hall, after our late Mayor, Walter “Skip” Campbell. The formal dedication of Walter “Skip” Campbell Avenue will take place on one of his favorite days of the year, St. Patrick’s Day March 17.  Details here.
