The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crimes across the city between February 23 and March 1, 2026. Please note that the police have redacted the names and addresses of most victims in most incidents.
Incidents
Domestic Battery: A victim reported a domestic battery at the 12200 block of West Sample Road on Feb. 23 around 1:20 a.m.
Criminal Mischief: Property valued between $200 and $1,000 was damaged at 2101 N. University Drive on Feb. 23 shortly before 2 a.m.
Extortion: Police investigated an extortion report on Feb. 22 at a Coral Springs residence.
Petit Theft: A theft totaling about $180 was reported on Feb. 22 at a Coral Springs residence.
Identity Theft: A Coral Springs resident reported identity theft that occurred between March 2025 and Feb. 23, 2026.
Retail Theft: More than $2,300 worth of merchandise was stolen from a business at 93 W. Atlantic Blvd. during a reported incident on Feb. 6.
Shoplifting: Approximately $199 in merchandise was stolen from Target on Feb. 23.
Battery: A victim reported being intentionally struck during a battery incident on Feb. 23 in Coral Springs.
Battery: Another victim reported being struck during a separate battery incident on Feb. 23.
Fleeing Police: A driver fled from officers with lights and sirens activated near Ramblewood Drive on Feb. 24.
Shoplifting: $18 worth of merchandise was stolen from Publix at 2201 N. University Drive on Feb. 24.
Shoplifting: A separate theft totaling $56 was reported at the same Publix on Feb. 24.
Grand Theft: A theft totaling about $1,700 was reported Feb. 24 in Coral Springs.
Theft of Bicycle: A bicycle valued at about $583 was stolen on Feb. 18 and reported Feb. 24.
Fraud: A fraud report dating back to Jan. 1, 2020, was reported Feb. 24.
Grand Theft: A theft valued at about $1,040 was reported Feb. 24 at a Coral Springs residence.
Fraud: A victim reported losing about $78,000 in a fraud case occurring between Dec. 2025 and Jan. 2026.
Burglary to Business: A forced-entry burglary at Home Depot, 750 N. University Drive, resulted in about $249 in losses on Feb. 25.
Burglary: A non-forced residential burglary was reported Feb. 25 with about $15 in losses.
Retail Theft: More than $1,000 in merchandise was stolen from a business on State Road 7 on Feb. 25.
Grand Theft: About $750 in property was reported stolen from Coral Ridge Drive between Jan. 11 and Feb. 22.
Elderly Abuse: Police investigated an elderly abuse report on Feb. 26.
Grand Theft: Approximately $1,900 was stolen from a business at 12350 NW 39th St. on Feb. 26.
Grand Theft: A separate theft totaling $12,000 was reported Feb. 26.
Shoplifting: $79 in merchandise was stolen from Madrag at 9505 W. Atlantic Blvd. on Feb. 26.
Theft of Auto Parts: Approximately $60 in vehicle parts were stolen from a Coral Springs vehicle.
Grand Theft Auto: A vehicle was stolen from Coral Springs Auto Mall, 9400 W. Atlantic Blvd., on Feb. 27.
Grand Theft Auto: Another vehicle theft was reported between Feb. 26 and Feb. 27 in Coral Springs.
Fraud: A victim reported losing about $1,015 in a fraud incident on Feb. 27.
Shoplifting: $153 in merchandise was stolen from Walmart at 6001 Coral Ridge Drive on Feb. 28.
Shoplifting: About $445 in merchandise was stolen from a business at 92 W. Atlantic Blvd. on Feb. 28.
Shoplifting: $38 in merchandise was stolen from Walmart at 3801 Turtle Creek Drive on Feb. 28.
Property Damage: Damage was reported at The Grove at Turtle Run, 3701 Turtle Run Blvd., on Feb. 28.
False Imprisonment: Police investigated a false imprisonment incident reported shortly after midnight on March 1.
Property Damage: Damage to city property was reported near 9500 W. Sample Road on March 1.
Arrests
Corey J. Buster, 38, was arrested Feb. 23 on a charge of domestic battery at 12290 W. Sample Road.
Eileen Brown, 61, was arrested Feb. 23 on a charge of retail theft.
Marc Ley Cloudy-Marlins Jean, 20, was arrested Feb. 23 for driving with a suspended license.
Anthony Fraley, 50, was arrested Feb. 24 for shoplifting at Publix, 2201 N. University Drive.
Jonathan Thomas Dornan, 27, was arrested Feb. 24 on a capias warrant.
Britt Stephens, 52, was arrested Feb. 24 for shoplifting at Publix.
David Jaheim Williams, 20, was arrested Feb. 25 for loitering or prowling.
Daniel Ross Fischer, 40, was arrested Feb. 25 on a felony charge of cocaine possession.
Matthew Hart June, 39, was arrested Feb. 25 for burglary of a structure at Home Depot, 750 N. University Drive.
Dominick Reymond Ginez, 26, was arrested Feb. 26 for possession of cannabis over 20 grams.
Michael Alexander Selcis, 31, was arrested Feb. 27 on a capias warrant.
James C. Hodge, 24, was arrested Feb. 28 for shoplifting at Walmart, 6001 Coral Ridge Drive.
Mazen A. Soubra, 66, was arrested Feb. 28 for shoplifting at Walmart, 3801 Turtle Creek Drive.
Victor M. Pena Rodriguez, 46, was arrested Feb. 28 for domestic battery.
Hector Robles, 21, was arrested Feb. 28 for domestic battery.
Carlos Antonio Melgar, 34, was arrested March 1 on a felony charge of false imprisonment.
