This is a summary of Coral Springs Police Department activity for the week of July 21–27, 2025.
Thefts & Property Crimes
A motorcycle was reported stolen on July 21 between 7 p.m. and 1:09 p.m. near Westview Drive.
A firearm was stolen from a vehicle on July 21 around 11:41 p.m. Loss: $300.
A car was stolen from 11 Heron Bay Blvd between 3 a.m. and 5:53 a.m. on July 27. Loss: $1,600.
Three additional auto thefts and multiple burglaries to vehicles were reported during the week.
Retail thefts were reported at several locations, including Walmart and stores on Atlantic Blvd. Total reported losses in retail theft incidents exceeded $7,000.
A grand theft on NW 78th Lane resulted in a reported loss of $10,000.
A Coral Springs resident reported $90,000 in fraudulent credit card charges between June 1 and July 18.
Several other fraud cases included identity theft, welfare fraud, and other schemes, with estimated losses ranging from $227 to $19,500.
Violent & Domestic Incidents
Multiple domestic battery cases were reported, including one involving strangulation on July 25.
Two separate cases of burglary with assault or battery occurred on July 26 and 27.
An aggravated battery was reported on July 23.
Drug & Weapons Offenses
Two arrests were made for narcotics violations, including one for trafficking fentanyl on July 26.
A 20-year-old man was arrested for carrying a concealed firearm on July 22.
Other Notable Incidents
A cyber harassment case spanning from February to July was reported on July 22.
Several cases involved individuals taken into protective custody under the Baker Act.
Two medically attended deaths were reported on July 27.
Arrests
Elizabeth Pearl Henriquez, 36, was arrested for domestic battery on July 21.
Xavier Valerius Soto, 21, was charged with grand theft of a firearm on July 21.
Shamari Andre Grant, 20, was arrested for carrying a concealed firearm on July 22.
Damon Walter James, 28, was arrested for burglary of a conveyance on July 23.
Laura Lea Antonelli Karol, 54, was arrested for DUI (second offense) on July 25.
Kevin Anthony Smith, 41, was charged with domestic battery by strangulation on July 25.
Sean Stephan Garcia, 35, was arrested for trafficking fentanyl on July 26.
Peterson Pierre, 33, was arrested for burglary with assault on July 26.
Jayson Remi Pierre Louis, 19, was charged with vehicle burglary on July 27.
Craig Tavaris Reese, 38, and Renata F. Battle, 45, were both arrested in separate shoplifting cases at Walmart.
Alex M. Charles, 33, was arrested for battery on July 27.
