The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crimes across the city between July 7 and July 13, 2025. Please note that the police have redacted the names of victims and addresses of most incidents.
Retail Thefts:
Best Buy, 650 N University Dr, reported two shoplifting incidents on June 30 and July 2. Estimated losses were $348 and $169.
Macy’s, 9129 W Atlantic Blvd, reported a theft on July 10. Estimated loss: $524.
Vape and Smoke Shop, 923 N University Dr, reported a $40 theft on July 9.
Additional thefts were reported at locations including Turtle Creek Drive, Coral Ridge Drive, and W. Sample Road, with losses ranging from $16 to $1,246.
Fraud and Identity Theft:
Multiple fraud incidents were reported, including credit card fraud, check fraud, and identity theft. Estimated losses ranged from $42 to $45,000.
Grand Thefts:
Incidents occurred across the city with losses between $640 and $5,965.
Auto-Related Crimes:
Two cases of theft of auto parts/accessories were reported with minimal losses.
Several burglary conveyance and lost property cases were also documented.
Criminal Mischief:
On July 13, a business at 3701 Turtle Run Blvd sustained damage over $1,000. A suspect was arrested.
Violent and Domestic Incidents
Aggravated Assaults:
Incidents were reported on July 8 and July 11 at Westview Drive and other unspecified locations.
Domestic Battery:
Multiple incidents of domestic battery occurred throughout the week, including on July 8, 9, 11, 12, and 13.
Sexual Battery:
Two sexual battery cases involving protected victims were reported on July 13.
Robbery:
A strong-arm robbery with a loss of $750 occurred on July 8.
Stalking:
Two cases of simple stalking, including cyber harassment, were reported.
Drug and Alcohol Violations
Narcotics Violations:
Multiple individuals were arrested or cited for possession of narcotics, including cocaine and cannabis, at various locations, including W Atlantic Blvd and W Sample Rd.
Other Notable Incidents
Fleeing/Eluding Police:
Two incidents were reported involving suspects fleeing from officers with lights and sirens engaged.
Threats, Harassment, and Ordinance Violations:
Police handled reports of harassing calls, threats, and various city ordinance violations, including petit theft and loitering.
Mental Health and Welfare:
Several Baker Acts and risk of harm calls were recorded.
Three medically attended deaths and one unattended death were reported.

Scott Barron (45): Grand theft $751–$5,000, July 10.
Alenst St. Jean (20): False info for pawned items and injunction violation, July 10.
Jacob Moore (20): No driver’s license, July 11.
Wilkenson Pericles (24): Obstruction without violence, July 11.

Susan Wright-Whittaker (38): Domestic battery, July 11.
