The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crime incidents across the city between February 5 – February 11, including arrests and various charges.
Theft & Burglary
Shoplifting: A theft was reported at Walmart (6001 Coral Ridge Dr.) on February 5 at 5:39 p.m. with an estimated loss of $59.
Grand Theft Auto: A vehicle was stolen between 8:30 p.m. on February 4 and 5:30 a.m. on February 5.
Burglary to Auto: A theft from a vehicle occurred between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. on February 5, with an estimated loss of $300.
Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card: A report was filed on February 5 for fraudulent charges totaling $9,256 at 92 Wiles Rd.
Burglary to Business (Forced Entry): A business at 13 Coral Ridge Dr. was burglarized between 7:00 p.m. on February 4 and 4:37 p.m. on February 5, resulting in an estimated loss of $141.
Grand Theft: An incident of grand theft was reported between 1:50 p.m. on February 4 and 6:02 p.m. on February 5, with a loss of $40,000.
Petit Theft: A theft was reported at 9129 W Atlantic Blvd. between 10:00 a.m. on February 4 and 4:09 p.m. on February 5, with an estimated loss of $700.
Shoplifting: A theft occurred at Verizon (4705 N State Road 7) on February 6 at 8:47 p.m., with a reported loss of $740.
Retail Theft: A felony retail theft occurred at 46 N University Dr. between 6:29 p.m. on February 6 and 5:31 p.m. on February 7, with an estimated loss of $3,478.
Identity Theft: A fraud case was reported at Coral Springs on February 5.
Fraud & Financial Crimes
Wire Fraud: A victim at 57 NW 100th Ter. lost $444 between January 31 and February 5.
Fraud – All Other: A fraud case involving $10,234 was reported at 11 W Sample Rd. on February 6.
Violent Crimes
Aggravated Stalking: An incident was reported on February 5 at 6:42 p.m.
Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer: An attack on an officer occurred on February 5 at 11:20 p.m.
Robbery Armed: A robbery was reported at Coral Springs on February 7 between 2:50 p.m. and 3:11 p.m.
Lewd or Lascivious Acts: A case was reported on February 8 at 7:39 p.m.
Other Significant Incidents
Weapons on School Property: Westchester Elementary reported an incident involving weapons on February 5 between 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
Baker Acts: Multiple individuals were taken into custody under the Baker Act at various locations throughout the week.

DUI Arrest: Eileen Brown (60) was arrested for DUI at 5736 NW 46th Dr. on February 10.
Jonathan Mion (28) was arrested on a capias warrant on February 5.
Francis Doristin (36) was arrested for battery on a law enforcement officer on February 6.
Kayden Williams (20) was arrested for grand theft of a firearm on February 6.
Haley Ostrom Franz (32) was arrested for possession of cathinone on February 7.
Samuel Mackenzie Charles (34) was arrested for grand theft of a motor vehicle on February 8.
Felix M. Torres (36) was arrested for grand theft of a motor vehicle on February 8.
Nyerere S. Julien (45) was arrested for burglary, dwelling unarmed/no assault occupied on February 9.
Hiclesson Derancier (27) was arrested for obstructing an officer without violence on February 10.
Elijah Joel Flores (24) was arrested for shoplifting/retail theft at Macy’s Men (9263 W Atlantic Blvd.) on February 11.
