The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crimes across the city between January 12 and January 18, 2026. Please note that the police have redacted the names of victims and addresses of most incidents.
Incident Summaries
Medically Attended Death – A 61-year-old man died under medical supervision at a residence in the 11 block of NW 39th Street on Jan. 12.
Baker Act – Multiple individuals were taken into protective custody under the Baker Act at locations including NW 108th Drive, Coral Ridge Drive, NW 62nd Avenue, NW 19th Street, Riverside Drive, and other residential addresses throughout the week.
Retail Theft / Shoplifting
Home Depot, 750 N. University Drive – Merchandise valued at $279 stolen on Jan. 12.
Publix, 2201 N. University Drive – $169 in merchandise stolen on Jan. 12.
BJ’s Wholesale, 620 Riverside Drive – $321 stolen on Jan. 14.
Multiple additional retail thefts were reported at Publix, Royal Palm Boulevard, Sample Road, and University Drive locations throughout the week, including felony retail thefts exceeding $750.
Fraud
Several fraud cases were reported across the city involving credit card misuse, identity theft, and other fraudulent activity.
The largest reported loss totaled $24,006 in a fraud case reported Jan. 17.
Other fraud-related losses ranged from $776 to $7,500.
Burglary / Theft From Vehicle
Multiple vehicles were burglarized across Coral Springs, with reported losses ranging from $134 to $4,000.
Incidents occurred in residential neighborhoods and parking areas between Jan. 12 and Jan. 16.
Grand Theft Auto
Two vehicles were reported stolen in separate incidents on Jan. 15 and Jan. 16. Locations were not publicly disclosed.
Domestic Battery
Several domestic battery incidents were reported throughout the week, including cases involving physical contact and threats.
Shooting
A shooting was reported in the area of NW 37th Street on Jan. 16. No additional details were released in the bulletin.
Cruelty to Animals
An animal cruelty case was reported at a residence in the 80 block of NW 44th Street on Jan. 16.
Written Threats
Police investigated multiple incidents involving written threats to kill or cause bodily harm on Jan. 16 and Jan. 17.
Animal Bites
Two animal bite incidents were reported on NW 35th Street and Royal Palm Boulevard.
Property Damage
Property damage incidents were reported at apartment complexes, commercial properties, and private residences.
Missing Person
A missing person was reported and later recovered safely on Jan. 18.
Noise Violation
A municipal noise ordinance violation was issued at a residence on NW 40th Street late Jan. 17.
Arrests
Charles Leon Cutler, 42, of Coral Springs – Arrested Jan. 12 for felony petit theft after prior convictions.
Daniel Rickardo Martin Green, 28 – Arrested Jan. 13 for driving without a valid license.
Philomise Pierre, 58 – Arrested Jan. 13 on a charge of domestic battery.
Keenan Lyn, 34 – Arrested Jan. 14 for retail theft under $750.
William Arnes Rein, 37 – Arrested Jan. 14 on a capias warrant.
Chandler Dane Obradovich, 29 – Arrested Jan. 14 for domestic battery.
Roberto J. Rourk, 46 – Arrested Jan. 15 for retail theft.
Brandon Magno Mainer, 21 – Arrested Jan. 15 on a capias warrant.
Russell Lorenzo Baldwin, 48 – Arrested Jan. 15 on a felony charge of leaving the scene of a crash resulting in death.
Tiffany Line Pericles, 35 – Arrested Jan. 15 for felony burglary with intent to commit an offense.
Naveen Saddi, 54 – Arrested Jan. 17 for felony petit theft (third or subsequent offense).
Dallas Arielle Ostrofsky, 28 – Arrested Jan. 18 for domestic battery.
