Coral Springs Crime Blotter: Police Investigate $32K Fraud Case

The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crimes across the city between September 22 and 28, 2025. Please note that the police have redacted the names of victims and addresses of most incidents.
Incidents
Domestic Disturbances: Reported at NW 56th Place (Sept. 22) and NW 104th Avenue (Sept. 23).
Thefts:
Grand theft of a motorcycle reported on Sept. 22.
Grand theft automobile reported on Sept. 22 and Sept. 28. Estimated loss $100 in one case, unknown in the other.
Retail thefts included incidents at Nordstrom Rack (Sept. 23, $99), Wiles Road (Sept. 23, $43), and Home Depot (Sept. 28, $120).
Petit thefts were reported on Sept. 22 ($473), Sept. 25 ($700 and another unspecified amount), and Sept. 25 ($30).
A burglary to a business with forced entry resulted in $1,900 in losses (Sept. 25).
Burglary conveyance/theft from auto reported Sept. 27.
Grand theft of a firearm valued at $900 reported Sept. 27.
Fraud/Identity Crimes: Multiple fraud cases included wire fraud ($420, Sept. 22), all other fraud ($5,000 on Sept. 23 and $32,787 on Sept. 24), impersonation ($5,001, Sept. 26), identity theft ($2,000, Sept. 26), and forgery (Sept. 26).
Violent Incidents:
Domestic batteries reported Sept. 23, Sept. 24, and Sept. 27.
Battery on law enforcement/firefighter (Sept. 23).
Several reports of battery involving striking or touching another person (Sept. 23, Sept. 24, Sept. 27).
Sexual battery reported Sept. 24.
Elderly abuse reported Sept. 28.
Other Incidents:
Risk of harm cases logged throughout the week (multiple).
Trespassing cases at Royal Palm Boulevard (Sept. 24) and other properties.
Animal bite reported Sept. 26.
Two cases of exposure of sex organs reported Sept. 25 and Sept. 28.
Computer crime with intent to defraud (Sept. 27).
Missing endangered person reported Sept. 25; missing person recovered Sept. 25; another missing person case reported Sept. 26.
Medically attended death reported Sept. 28.
Arrests
September 22: Jared Lm Agenor, 18, arrested for violation of an injunction for domestic violence.
September 23:
Heidy Archer, 24, capias arrest.
Tadgi Aide Scoppettone, 32, retail theft under $750.
Clairmont Alexis John, 36, capias arrest.
Breona A. Kendrick, 32, battery on a firefighter/EMT.
September 24:
Dominic Vincent Batson Phinn, 18, tampering with physical evidence.
Aushod D. Brinson, 29, domestic battery.
Cheyenne Christina Joan Eng, 25, dating violence battery.
Matthew Bryant Thorpe, 30, violation of pretrial release.
David Maqueira, 31, trespassing after warning.
September 25:
Erick Xavier Gonzalez Valencia, 31, capias arrest.
Shawayne Mark Williams, 28, cannabis possession under 20 grams.
Ryan Eugene Cohee, 42, trafficking fentanyl (14–28 grams).
September 26: Manuel Antonio Flores Canales, 22, cannabis possession under 20 grams.
September 27:
Richard Punwassie, 44, possession of THC.
Jone Stephen Ribeiro, 32, domestic battery.
September 28:
Jaime E. Nunes, 69, shoplifting.
Mourad Mohammed Beshir, 45, driving with suspended license as habitual offender.
Eugene Guitinnberg Morvan, 39, DUI first offense.
