The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crimes across the city between May 4 and May 10, 2026. Please note that the police have redacted the names and addresses of most victims in most incidents.
Incidents
A vehicle valued at $28,550 was reported stolen sometime overnight between May 3 and May 4 in Coral Springs.
A Coral Springs resident reported losing $33,188 in a fraud case on May 4.
Retail thefts and shoplifting incidents were reported throughout the week at multiple businesses, including Walmart, Macy’s, Ulta, Hobby Lobby and other retailers, with reported losses ranging from $78 to $995.
A criminal mischief case involving damage exceeding $1,000 was reported at a business on West Sample Road on May 5.
A Coral Springs resident reported $14,500 in fraudulent credit card charges on May 5.
A burglary involving non-forced entry at a residence on Broken Woods Drive resulted in an estimated loss of $1,200.
Police investigated a shooting reported May 7 in the 3800 block of Turtle Run Boulevard.
A sexual battery case reported May 8 remains under investigation.
A business burglary involving forced entry on West Sample Road resulted in an estimated loss of $1,500.
A grand theft case reported May 7 involved an estimated loss of $12,401.
Another grand theft reported May 9 resulted in an estimated loss of $3,920.
Police investigated a missing endangered person case involving a 72-year-old woman on Northwest 28th Court on May 10.
Arrests
Kevin Curtis Orion, 45, was arrested May 4 on a charge of shoplifting/retail theft at 4400 N. State Road 7.
Abraham Terveus, 22, was arrested May 4 on a charge of driving without a license near Riverside Drive and Shadow Wood Boulevard.
Luisa Fernanda Toro Carmona, 27, was arrested May 5 on a shoplifting charge at 9600 Westview Drive.
Ingrid Julieth Nunez Flores, 21, was arrested May 5 on a dating violence battery charge.
Ronique Ashleigh Whittaker, 32, was arrested May 5 on a charge of driving without a license.
Carlton Lee Jones, 59, was arrested May 6 on a charge of failing to register a vehicle tag.
Idania Girona Chang, 57, was arrested May 6 on a battery charge.
Jone Stephen Ribeiro, 32, was arrested May 7 on a capias warrant.
Canard Tyrell Roberson, 31, was arrested May 7 on a felony retail theft charge involving losses between $751 and $5,000.
Kiara J. Jackson, 25, was arrested May 9 on a petit theft/shoplifting charge at Walmart on Turtle Creek Drive.
Roberto Jose Gonzalez, 55, was arrested May 9 on a felony false imprisonment charge.
Miazoti Ann White, 41, was arrested May 9 on a domestic battery charge.
Susana Gonzalez-Llopiz, 35, was arrested May 9 on an assault charge.
Wilson Dor, 23, was arrested May 9 on a felony cannabis distribution/delivery charge.
Kenley Jose Saintlot, 19, was arrested May 10 on a domestic battery charge.
