The Yellow Yolk, a laid-back hangout brunch spot, cracked open its doors at the Walk to omelet, pancake, and breakfast lovers alike.
With a modern and clean ambiance, one can find most breakfast staples like eggs and waffles and succulent lunch items like their Chicago Style Hot Roast Beef Sandwich served with house-made au jus or the Mykonos Greek Salad with fresh feta cheese.
Founders Joe Bras and Steve Tsatas both have Greek lineage and moved to Coral Springs four years ago. Born in Montreal, Joe comes from a family of foodies and chefs, so becoming a restaurateur was always the plan. Similarly, co-founder Steve’s family in Kalamata, Greece, instilled a passion for healthy fresh flavor.
“Our food is fun, fresh, and of great value. We cater to everyone, and we pride ourselves on cleanliness,” said Tsatas.
From 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., customers will always find a smiling face with the attentive wait staff while enjoying the pop-themed in-store decorations and decor.
Current specials at Yellow Yolk include the $5 pancake stack served with homemade syrup and a promotion where kids who have holidays off from school can eat free.
School fundraisers, local sports sponsorships, and catering are also available.
“I requested a substitution for the home-fried potatoes, which looked great, but with my diet, the fruit I was given as a replacement was crisp, fresh, and delicious.” said patron Dora H.
Construction for another Yellow Yolk location in Pompano Beach near the intercoastal is slated for completion in January 2023, along with two new restaurant concepts, Miragio serving gourmet Italian cuisine, and American Lobster serving fresh seafood and prime steak.
The Yellow Yolk is located at 2864 N University Dr., Coral Springs, FL 33065; in the Walk, follow them online @yellowyolkfl and yellowyolk.com.
