Don’t miss the Coral Springs Farmers’ Market this Sunday, where residents can roam through a variety of local produce and exotic food vendors and grab a sample or two.
Market Manager Colleen Sullivan said that a few vendors from the past have moved on to Lucky’s Market here in Coral Springs which is considered an amazing opportunity for vendors looking to get their name out there.
“They start out at Farmer’s Market looking for support from the residents,” said Sullivan. “Once they get that support, the local grocers will realize that they have quality products that they’ll bring to their store.”
Held every other Sunday, Sullivan is really excited for Coral Springs residents to explore vendors that will offer something new to them such as Maxi Donas which sells gourmet donuts that will “put any donut out there to shame.” There is also another vendor, Sweet Monkey Tea, that sells hibiscus tea with dried fruit inside and fresh salsa at Marlins Salsa
This Sunday, enjoy your morning at the Farmers’ Market listening to Deerfield musician Jason Hanley who will entertain you with jazz and blues music.
Sullivan recommends that residents take a risk and try as many vendors as possible.
“I think if the residents go up and have a conversation with [the vendors] and try their products, it will really make the vendors feel like this is a great community.”
