Coral Springs has almost everything under the sun, except of course if you need someone to design a new marketing plan for your city, then you’ll have to have to go to Tennessee for that.
According to the Sun Sentinel, the City of Coral Springs paid a Nashville company $70,000 back in February of 2012 to “brand” the city as a great place to live and have a business. Â The slogan that commissioners informally agreed to last week was “Coral Springs…everything under the sun.”
It’s too bad that city officials couldn’t find a local marketing company in sunny South Florida that could do the job for them.

Hideous logo. Way too corporate in nature. Like two snakes copulating.
Could you please post the Sun Sentinel source? I can’t find it, thanks.
Jacob, Lisa Huriash with the Sun Sentinel wrote it. It was on the front page of the Local Section on Tuesday.
That’s not the new logo, and this article is total crap.
Business and other concerns OFTEN go out of state for quality work. (Ever hear of Madison Avenue?) Maybe this web site should do the same thing for their JOURNALISTS, since this is NOT the logo designed by the new company–that hasn’t been presented yet.
My god, some of you guys are total morons.
This is the logo that was published in the Sun Sentinel. Go tell them that they’re morons.
