The Coral Springs High School boys soccer team’s win Wednesday night might have been the most impressive this season, beating South Plantation High School 2-1.
The Paladins came into the game with a record of 6-2-3 but fell as the Colts moved back over .500 with their fifth win. They previously beat Somerset Prep, Piper, Flanagan, and Everglades High School.
In their latest win, Thanakrit Lakieo and Francisco Prestefilipe recorded goals, while Nicolas Miranda and Mahmoud Kaddouhh had assists. Goaltender Micheal Neville earned the win in net, allowing just one goal in 80 minutes.
Next, CSHS will be off for the holiday and return on Jan. 10 for a matchup against South Broward High School. The Bulldogs are 9-3-2 this year and started the season out 7-0. In their last meeting in 2020, South Broward won 6-1.
