Coral Springs High School held Senior night for both their boys and girls soccer teams on Wednesday.
The girls’ team began the night with a game against McArthur High School, which they won 3-1. The Lady Colts recognized Gabriella Stubblefield, Gabriela Castillo, Dominque Roccia, Abigail Matis, and Melanie Sola.
CSHS is 2-8 this season, and their first win came in their first game against Plantation High School in their first game. They scored five goals but only three in their next seven games before holding their senior night.
The boys team continued its terrific season with its seventh win in nine games this year, defeating McArthur High School on Senior Night. The Colts recognized Marcus Galindo, Thanakrit Lakieo, Aaron Caballero, Christian Arango, Camden Hulse, David Puello, and Nicolas Morando.
The Colts previously beat Plantation, West Broward, Monarch, Pompano Beach, Nova, and Piper High School, outscoring their opponents 18-3 during their wins earlier this year while falling to Coral Glades and South Plantation High School.
Next, both teams will be back in action on Thursday, December 12, against Coconut Creek High School. The girls will play at 5 p.m. while the boys will follow at 7 p.m.
