The Coral Springs Middle School flag football team is off to a perfect start this season, winning all five of its opening games.
The Stallions opened the year with a 13–6 victory over Sawgrass Middle School, followed by a dominant 28–6 win against Renaissance Charter School. Coral Springs then won back-to-back one-point thrillers, defeating Ramblewood Middle School 14–13 in overtime and edging Westglades Middle School 7–6. The Stallions capped their undefeated run with a 14–6 win over Forest Glen Middle School.
The team features Aiden Brickman, Blake Budd, Blake Burden, Brayden Basso, Bryce Cabrera, Castus McKnight, Colt Moldt, Daman Diedrick, Dermaine Spencer, Ethan Abraham, Gavin Brown, Isaia De La Rose, Jace Campbell, Jake Searchay, Jamison Rubino, Jayden Chavez, Luc Poisson, Mason Thomas, Matthew Mofford, Parker Harrington, Rodrick Hill, Tomas Schedit, and Dontae Moore.
The team’s Head Coach is JP Gaston, Ben Goldman is the offensive coordinator, and Gerald Crowder manages the defense.
Coral Springs will return to action on Thursday, February 5, against Deerfield Beach Middle School. The Stallions will then close out the regular season against Somerset Parkland and Imagine Broward before the start of the postseason.
