Coral Springs native Caleb Roberts is back in affiliated professional baseball after recently signing with the Minnesota Twins organization.
A fifth-round pick in the 2021 MLB Draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks, Roberts began the season playing independent baseball with the Long Island Ducks. He has since returned to affiliated baseball and made an immediate impact, homering three times with the Double-A Wichita Wind Surge. His latest one came in the team’s most recent game against the Tulsa Drillers
Roberts hit 10 home runs and drove in 57 runs last season while playing for the Amarillo Sod Poodles. Over 489 professional games, he owns a .245 batting average with 60 home runs and 269 RBIs.
