
Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department
The Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department is hiring firefighter/paramedics, officials said.
The pay range for the position as of Oct. 1, 2025 will be $65,678 to $106,064, according to an announcement from the city of Coral Springs.
To qualify, applicants must hold a valid driver’s license and state of Florida Firefighter Certificate of Compliance Certificate, complete an Emergency Vehicle Operators Course, pass the national Candidate Physical Abilities Test, and hold a state of Florida Paramedic License.
Firefighter/paramedic duties include: responding to fire alarms; suppressing and putting out fires; rescuing and stabilizing patients as part of an engine company or rescue unit; communicating with dispatch, emergency room physicians, and police; driving Fire Department vehicles; operating Fire Department equipment and gear; using hydrants, pumps and hoses; entering burning buildings with hose lines to fight fires; rescuing victims from vehicles, drowning incidents, accidents, fires, and other emergency situations; and performing CPR and other medical care.
