Coral Springs High School students are performing their unique rendition of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s musical, ‘In the Heights.’
Based on a Broadway musical about a New York bodega owner who slowly saves up money and dreams of a better, more fulfilling life, ‘In the Heights’ was made into a movie in 2021 and stars Anthony Ramos, Corey Hawkins, and Leslie Grace.
According to the school’s website, “The Coral Springs High School Drama Club strives to educate students on the importance of the arts while creating a comfortable, fun, and welcoming environment.”
The musical is held at Coral Springs High School on 7201 West Sample Road in Coral Springs on Thursday, February 23 and Friday, February 24, at 6:30 p.m., and Saturday, February 25, at 2:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Purchase tickets at the door or online. Tickets are $15 per person.
