The Coral Springs Regional Chamber will hold a special reception for its members and businesses interested in joining.
Known for its special members-only programs designed to help grow local businesses by offering discounts on goods and services through affinity programs, the upcoming Chamber Council event is also open to potential members.
Chamber President, Cindy Brief said the event, which includes hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, features over 100 different tabletops representing local businesses, such as Dignity Memorial, DP Window Cleaning, The Bin Doctor, Rotary Club of Coral Springs and Broward Health.
“It’ll be our first mixer,” she said. “We are basically doing this as a benefit to our members, and hoping it’s an opportunity for them to mingle, meet other business owners and expand their networks.”
She added the reception is just one of many special events advertised in the chamber’s busy calendar. So far in 2019, there have been ribbon cuttings, trustee events, coffee meetings and wake up breakfasts — the last one included an address by Rep.Ted Deutch.
Brief and her director of operations, Gulie Carrington both said the mixer reception on August 28 will be yet another chance for entrepreneurs from all over Coral Springs, Coconut Creek, Parkland and Tamarac to mingle as well as meet with their chamber ambassadors.
Guests at the mixer get the inside scoop on the best way to network and market not only their businesses as well as the chance to take part in a travel game and win prizes meant to benefit their companies.
Carrington created a travel theme and game to engage attendees and incentivize them to visit each tabletop with a passport.
“If they visit up to nine tabletops, they get to enter a raffle to win marketing opportunities such as an email blast sent to the membership with 5,500 contacts, a newsletter advertisement, and a rotating website banner,” she said.
This event is for new members, who have belonged to the Chamber for less than one year.
To attend the mixer, preregister here, or call Carrington who will secure payment at 954-752-4242 ext. 2003.
The mixer, which costs $20 for members and $35 for non-members will be held on Wednesday, Aug 28 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the second floor of the Carolina Club located at 3011 N. Rock Island Road.
