Through our joint effort with the Coral Springs Police Department to share updates to residents, this is a summary of crimes that occurred in Coral Springs from April 7 through April 13.

According to CSPD policy, they will not release information on open/active crimes. So if a crime isn’t reflected in this report, it was not released to the media.

Shoplifting/petit theft/grand theft
A petit theft occurred at JCPenny at 9303 West Atlantic Blvd on April 7 between 12:22 p.m. and 1:22 p.m.

Grand theft automobile
A woman, 39, was the victim of grand theft of her automobile at the 4000 block of NW 62nd Lane, on April 7, between 3:10 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Criminal Mischief
A male, 39, was the victim of criminal mischief to a residence over $1000 in Shadow Wood at the 8600 block of SW 1st Place, on April 7 between 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Narcotics Possession

Narcotics Possession was discovered at the following locations:

2700 Sportsplex Drive on April 8 at 11:54 a.m.

3800 North University Drive on April 9 at 9:53 p.m.

7-Eleven at 10380 Royal Palm Blvd on April 13 at 10:23 a.m.

10300 Royal Palm Blvd on April 10 at 8:11 p.m.

9200 West Sample Road on April 10 at 5:45 a.m.

9800 West Sample Road on April 13 at 7:39 p.m.

6001 West Sample Road on April 13 at 7:56 p.m.

Narcotics Violation

A narcotics violation took place at Jaycee Park at 4800 Riverside Drive on April 12 at 10:31 p.m.

Noise Violation
Crossfit Immersion received a municipal/city ordinance (noise Violation) at 10850 Wiles Road on April 10 at 5:28 a.m.

Schools
A female, 39, was the victim of battery on a law enforcement officer at Sawgrass Springs Middle School at 12500 West Sample Road on April 10 at 10:33 a.m.

Narcotics Possession was reported at Coral Springs High School at 7201 West Sample Road on April 11 between 1:00 p.m. and 1:08 p.m.

Arrests
Walter Delia Jr., 27, was arrested on charges of disorderly intoxication at Monster Mini Golf at 9533 Westview Drive on April 7.

Zamantha Lea Kluger, 29, was arrested on charges of battery on a law enforcement officer at the 3600 block of NW 110th Ave on April 7.

Oranea Jane Valaziotis, 47, was arrested on charges of grand theft over $300 but under $5,000 at Kohl’s at 9001 West Atlantic Blvd on April 8.

Kuntal Choksi, 51, was arrested on charges of petit theft at Hobby Lobby at 9150 Wiles Rd, on April 8.

Jasaiah Rashawn Hamilton, 18, was arrested on charges of obstructing an officer without violence at 10974 NW 56th Court on April 8.

Roderick Saveres Barther, 25, was arrested on charges of loitering or prowling at Bonefish Mac’s Sports Grille at 6174 West Sample Road on April 9.

Mark Christian Cruz Nery, 26, was arrested on charges of grand theft over $300 but under $5,000 at the 10800 block of NW 24th Street on Aril 9.

Bruno P. Mothe, 37, was arrested on charges of touch or strike/battery/dating violence in the Citation Way Condominiums at 9777 Westview Drive on April 9.

D`aja Rashelle Johnson, 21, was arrested on charges of petit theft at Macy’s at 9469 West Atlantic Blvd on April 9.

Keith Donnell Forbes, 33, was arrested on charges of petit theft at Macy’s at 9469 West Atlantic Blvd on April 9.

William Hunter Froetschel, 24, was arrested on charges of retail theft/felony retail theft at Walmart at 6001 Coral Ridge Drive on April 10.

Delante R. Wilcox, 26, was arrested on charges of shoplifting/retail theft at Best Buy at 650 North University Drive on April 10.

Tiffany Michelle Smith, 31, was arrested on charges of shoplifting/retail theft at Walmart at 3801 Turtle Creek Drive on April 10.

Hemant Kumar, 40, was arrested on charges of battery/touch or strike/battery/domestic violence at Sam’s Club at 950 North University Drive on April 10.

Conrad H. Auls, 62, was arrested on charges of petit theft at Walmart at 3801 Turtle Creek Drive on April 11.

Maxwell Homer, 30, was arrested on charges of battery/touch or strike/battery/domestic violence in Lake Point at 11793 West Atlantic Blvd on April 12.

Raquel Showers, 26, was arrested on charges of grand theft over $300 but under $5,000 at Macy’s at 9129 West Atlantic Blvd on April 12.
