Through our joint effort with the Coral Springs Police Department to share updates to residents, this is a summary of crimes that occurred in Coral Springs from April 14 through April 20.

According to CSPD policy, they will not release information on open/active crimes. So if a crime isn’t reflected in this report, it was not released to the media.

Shoplifting/petit theft/grand theft

A retail theft occurred at Macy’s at 9263 West Atlantic Blvd on April 14, between 4:52 p.m. and 4:59 p.m.

A male, 61, was the victim of a petit theft at the 5800 block of NW 54th Circle in Coral Creek, on April 15, between 10:55 a.m. and 11:05 a.m.

A female, 61, was the victim of a petit theft at the 1200 block of NW 91st Ave in Ramblewood South on April 16, at 12:12 p.m.

A grand theft occurred at Ulta Beauty at 4601 North University Drive on April 16, between 12:16 p.m. and 12:19 p.m.

A female, 36, was the victim of grand theft at Walmart at 3801 Turtle Creek Drive, on April 16, at 6:03 p.m.

A female, 18, was the victim of petit theft at Burlington at 6251 West Sample Road on April 18, between 4:30 p.m. 9:50 p.m.

A grand theft occurred at Bj’s Wholesale at 620 Riverside Drive between on April 18 between 2:25 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.

Grand theft automobile

Occurred at Coral Springs Honda at 9400 West Atlantic Blvd, on April 15 at 2:04 p.m.

A female, 36, was the victim of grand theft automobile at the 11400 block of Royal Palm Blvd in the Country Club between April 12 at 5:00 p.m. and April 18 at 5:30 p.m.

Criminal Mischief

A female, 60, was the victim of criminal mischief to a residence under $200 at the 3500 block of NW 85th Ave in the Village Green, between March 16 and April 15.

Battery

A juvenile male, 13, was the victim of battery at the 3600 block of NW 110th Lane, in The Windings on April 16 at 5:19 p.m.

A female, 22, was the victim of battery at the 9600 block of NW 36th Court, in The Clusters on April 17 at 10:30 a.m.

A female, 28, was the victim of domestic battery at the 7700 block of Hibiscus Lane, in Woodside Estates on April 19 at 11:11 p.m.

Animal Bite

A female, 28, was the victim of an animal bite at Dr. Paul’s Dog Park at 2915 Sportsplex Drive on April 17 at 4:59 p.m.

Burglary Residence

A female, 61, was the victim of a burglary residence – non-forced entry at the 5400 block of Leitner Drive West in Whispering Woods, between April 16 at 8:00 p.m. and April 17 at 5:00 a.m.

Arrests

Tarik M. Ergas, 31, was arrested on charges of shoplifting/retail theft at Walmart at 6001 Coral Ridge Drive on April 14.

Chris Eddie Butcher, 20, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent at the 7400 block of NW 42nd Drive in The Dells on April 14.

Charles Alan Yates, 31, was arrested on charges of stalking after injunction for protection at the 10300 block of NW 31st Street in Springs Park on April 14.

Christopher Anthony Lawrence, 43, was arrested on charges of DUI alcohol or drugs at 11400 West Sample Road on April 15.

Joseph Anthony Dejesus, 40, was arrested on charges of felony retail theft at Dick’s Sporting Goods at 8921 West Atlantic Blvd on April 15.

Anthony Monte Lewis, 37, was arrested on charges of strong-armed robbery at Block Advisors at 8266 Wiles Road on April 15.

Trevor Dorsey, 38, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct at 7-Eleven at 5740 Wiles Road on April 15.

Christian Nicolae Melu, 43, was arrested on charges of loitering or prowling at Parkridge Christian Academy at 5600 Coral Ridge Drive on April 15.

Maroldi Jaime, 22, was arrested on charges of Cannabis possession with intent to sell/deliver at Kohl’s at 9001 West Atlantic Blvd on April 16.

Monique Antoinette Jaramillo, 36, was arrested on charges of shoplifting at Target at 4400 North State Road 7 on April 16.

Travis Rory Billie, 29, was arrested on charges of failure to return a UHaul vehicle at the 8300 block of West Atlantic Blvd on April 16.

Marvin Desir, 26, was arrested on charges of grand theft over $300 but under $5,000 at Best Buy at 650 North University Drive on April 16.

Christopher Leyva, 41, was arrested on charges of battery/touch or strike/battery/domestic violence at the 3800 block of Lancewood Drive in Woodside on April 17.

Jeffrey Bernard Lewis, 27, was arrested on charges of grand theft over $300 but under $5,000 at Sam’s Club at 950 North University Drive on April 17.

Ryan Rotela, 28, was arrested on charges of battery/touch or strike/battery/domestic violence at the 2800 block of NW 94th Ave on April 17.

Joel Russel Vali, 50, was arrested on charges of theft from an auto at the 1300 block of NW 82nd Ave in Country Wood Estates on April 17.

Dumesle Jean Caeel Joseph, 19, was arrested on charges of battery on a law enforcement officer at the 10700 block of NW 5th Place in Cypress Glen on April 17.

Kettly Donjoie, 25, and Henrisha Donjoie, 20, were arrested on charges of retail theft at Macy’s at 9263 West Atlantic Blvd on April 17.

John Jeffrey Smith, 57, was arrested on charges of battery at the 4100 block of NW 103rd Drive in the neighborhood of Deer Run Springs on April 17.

Dennis Leon, 37, was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine at 10700 West Sample Road on April 17.

Peter Joseph Roberts, 26, was arrested on charges of battery on a law enforcement officer at 11788 W Sample Road, on April 18.

Nicolas Ortegan, 34, was arrested on charges of DUI alcohol or drugs at 4000 Riverside Drive on April 19.

Leighton Patrick Phillips, 47, was arrested on charges of grand theft over $300 but under $5,000 at Harbour Point Provisions at 12497 NW 44th Street on April 19.

Nicholas S. Rivers, 26, was arrested on charges of burglary from an auto at 2901 Coral Hills Drive on April 19.

Samuel Desravines, 20, was arrested on charges of retail theft at Macy’s at 9263 West Atlantic Blvd on April 19.

Rocky George Blythe, 34, was arrested on charges of petit theft-2nd degree – 3rd subsequent offense at Office Depot at 651 North University Drive on April 19.

Oliver A. De La Cruz, 21, was arrested on charges of petit theft at 7-Eleven at 5740 Wiles Road on April 19.

Davarion Tavaris Sherman, 24, was arrested on charges of cannabis possession with intent to sell/deliver at 3400 University Drive on April 19.

Jacques-richard Francis Boulet, 33, was arrested on charges of battery/touch or strike/battery/domestic violence at the 7700 block of Hibiscus Lane in Woodside on April 20.

Edmanica Gustave, 22, was arrested on charges of battery at the 3500 block of Riverside Drive on April 20.
