Through our joint effort with the Coral Springs Police Department to share updates to residents, this is a summary of crimes that occurred in Coral Springs through May 18.

According to CSPD policy, they will not release information on open/active crimes. So if a crime isn’t reflected in the report, it was not released to the media.

Petit Theft/Retail Theft

A male, 29, was the victim of a petit theft at Savannah at Riverside Condominiums at the 900 block of Riverside Drive between May 13 and 14.

A retail theft/felony retail theft occurred at Costco Wholesale at 4621 Coral Ridge Drive on May 14.

A male, 26, was the victim of petit theft at Chili’s Grill and Bar at 1650 North University Drive on May 15.

Robbery

A male, 18, was the victim of a robbery with a firearm or a deadly weapon at the 200 block of Lakeview Drive in Club Lake Pointe Apartments on May 18.

Schools

A person trespassed on school property after being issued a warning at Renaissance Charter School at 6250 West Sample Road on May 13.

A female, 24, was the victim of burglary conveyance/theft at Coral Springs High School at 7201 West Sample Road between May 12 and 13.

Arrests

Dany Herman Palomies, 28, charged with violating an injunction for protection against domestic violence at the 10700 block of NW 19th Place in Cypress Run on May 12.

Kristopher Stratton Sterghos, 23, charged with DUI alcohol or drugs at the 4500 block of North University Drive and Wiles Road on May 13.

Sonnell Davidson Springer, 41, charged with obstructing an officer without violence at Marathon Gas Station at 9605 Westview Drive on May 13.

Benjamin Jacob Najman, 22, charged with petit theft at Walmart at 3801 Turtle Creek Drive on May 14.

Aaliyah Y. Laing, 18, charged with petit theft at JC Penny at 9303 West Atlantic Blvd on May 15.

Felipe Valencia, 39, charged with battery/touch or strike/battery/domestic violence at Park Springs Elementary School at 5800 NW 66th Terrace on May 15.

Patrick Donald Lawson, 22, charged with DUI alcohol or drugs at the 11900 block of Lakeview Drive in Eagle Creek Townhomes on May 16.

Joy Errica Watson, 25, charged with possession of cocaine at 9000 Westview Drive on May 16.

Nina Bencivenga, 39, charged with arrested on charges of shoplifting/petit theft at Target at 4400 North State Road 7 on May 16.

Robert D. Flaiani, 55, charged with possession or use of drug paraphernalia at Starbucks at 6202 West Sample Road on May 17.

Jaime Latrice Forte, 37, charged with petit theft at Walmart at 3801 Turtle Creek Drive on May 17.

Kristian Ashley West, 28, charged with battery/intentionally causing bodily harm at the 9100 block of Ramblewood Drive in the Preserve at Coral Square on May 17.

Damian Maurice Snellings, 19, charged with DUI alcohol or drugs at 3100 Riverside Drive on May 18.

Eddy Germain Gaspard, 22, charged with violation of probation at Publix at 11600 West Sample Road on May 18.

Louis Jake Santiago, 27, charged with battery/intentionally causing bodily harm at Tires Plus at 10510 Wiles Road on May 18.

Michael Jay Masters, 36, was charged with obstructing an officer without violence at the 3800 block of Turtle Run Blvd on May 18.

Danielle N. Alcide, 35, charged with battery on a person 65 years of age or older at the 5000 block of Perignon Way in Hidden Hammock Estates on May 18.

Maria V. Hernandez Guevara, 22, charged with petit theft at Mega Wine and Spirits at 9525 Westview Drive on May 18.
