The Coral Springs High School wrestling team came in third out of 15 teams at the dual meet it hosted on January 9-10.
Coach Dan Jacob was disappointed with the result and said he believed the team could have performed better in the meet.
“We did not have the right mindset today. We did not wrestle as well as we could have,” said Jacob.
Leading wrestlers for the Colts included Tavish Perera, 106 pounds, who was 7-1; Dylan McKeon, 126 pounds, who was 7-1; and Adam Schuker, 132 pounds, who was 7-1.
The team is now preparing for the upcoming district tournament, according to Jacob.
