Love Costco but hate driving to Pompano Beach to shop there? Costco members soon won’t have to travel far because preliminary plans for a new location have been submitted to the City of Coral Springs.
According to Deputy City Manager Jennifer Bramley, Costco has submitted plans to the Development Review Committee for a location on NW 49th Drive on Coral Ridge Drive and Wiles Road. These plans show a 153,000 square foot building and a service station.
Currently, the nearest Costco location is at 1800 W. Sample Road east of Powerline. There are 20 Costco locations in Florida and 493 stores in the United States.
At this time, Costco would not comment on any pending building projects so stay tuned for more information.
