CSC and Coral Glades Golf Teams Shine in Season Opener

Coral Springs Charter and Coral Glades started the golf season with a bang at the Country Club of Coral Springs.
The CSC boys team had an impressive score of (-4) as a team, with freshman Bento Asis leading the charge with a 30 (-4). John Buono shot an even par with a 34, while Kolton Viveros finished with a 35 (+2). Hudson Fee added a 36 (+2) and Easton Viveros recorded a 39 (+5).
Coral Glades was led by Brayden Peeler, who shot a 33 (-1). Austin Passino went on to finish in sixth with a 39 (+5) while Bradley Pryor, Cade Fisher, and Sebastian Ortiz all played.
The CSC girls team featured Leah Costa, Natalie Conte, and Isabella Goodman shooting a 43, 46, and 48, respectively. At the same time, the Jaguars had the top two finishers with Bianca Gibbs shooting a 38 and Shannon Glynn registering a 41.
These teams will continue to face each other along with other teams in Broward County, as both schools have the potential to have golfers compete for a State Championship.
