The City of Coral Springs is calling on volunteers to roll up their sleeves for the annual Keep Coral Springs Beautiful Clean-Up on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 9 a.m. to noon.
The cleanup, part of the city’s ongoing sustainability initiative, invites volunteers ages 14 and older to help remove litter and debris from local parks, roadways, and public spaces. Participants will receive community service hours, enjoy a complimentary lunch at Mullins Park, and have a chance to win prizes in a post-event raffle.
“This event is a great way for residents to come together and take pride in keeping our city clean and beautiful,” said city officials in a statement. “Every volunteer effort contributes to a healthier environment and a stronger community.”
Cleanup sites will be assigned once participants register. The city provides gloves, trash bags, and other supplies, but volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and sun protection.
Those interested in participating can register by emailing volunteers@coralsprings.gov.
The Keep Coral Springs Beautiful Clean-Up is one of several environmental initiatives hosted by the city throughout the year, reflecting Coral Springs’ commitment to sustainability and community engagement. For more information, visit CoralSprings.gov/cleanup.
