In an operation on Thursday, the FBI, alongside the Miami Child Exploitation Task Force, arrested a Coral Springs man.
According to the FBI, Boris Fernando Bastidas, 35, is charged with the alleged enticement of a minor, an operation that was carried out without any incident.
Now in federal custody, Bastidad is slated for his initial court appearance in Fort Lauderdale federal court.
Given the investigation’s sensitive nature and ongoing status, officials have not disclosed further details. They urge anyone with relevant information about this case or other investigations to contact the FBI at 754-703-2000 or through their official tips website at tips.fbi.gov.
