The annual Coral Springs Festival of the Arts.
The 19th Annual Coral Springs Festival of the Arts will take place for the final time on March 15 and 16, 2025, marking the end of an era for one of South Florida’s most cherished cultural events.
The festival has brought together artists, performers, and attendees across South Florida for nearly two decades, transforming The Walk of Coral Springs into an eclectic and bustling hub of creativity and community.
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. The Festival of Arts marks its series finale next weekend.
Let’s get you primed and ready to send a piece of Coral Springs history off with the farewell it deserves.
Why Is This The Final Festival?
First and foremost, let’s cover why this is the final Coral Springs Festival of the Arts. Organizers announced that this will be the last Coral Springs Festival of the Arts due to increasing challenges in securing the necessary funds to sustain the event. Despite attracting 30,000 and 40,000 visitors annually, the financial burden has made it challenging to continue hosting the large-scale celebration.
The financial burden and challenges in volunteer staffing led to the difficult decision to make the 2025 festival the last of its kind.
What to Expect at the Festival
As with every year since 2006, festival attendees can look forward to lineups of artists, musicians, and performers. In January, officials announced Manyan as the 2025 Signature Artist for the festival. Manyan is known best for her oil-on-canvas painting, A Relaxing Afternoon, which was chosen as the event’s final signature piece.
The festival also features an art and craft show, showcasing the works of over 175 artisans and crafters, including those curated by the nationally renowned art festival promoter Howard Alan Events.
Two stages will host live performances of music, dance, theater, and literature. Visitors can enjoy cultural performances that bring a unique flair to the event, making it a true celebration of the arts in all its forms.
Gardenfest Coral Springs will also be part of the festival. It will feature local plant vendors, gardening experts who share their knowledge and passion for horticulture, and rare and desirable plants and seed for sale.
As there is each year, parents can expect a family-friendly atmosphere with multiple kids zones featuring activities and entertainment for all ages.
Parking and Accessibility
The festival is easily accessible from the Sawgrass Expressway and offers multiple free parking options:
- City Hall Parking Garage is located at 9500 West Sample Road
- Coral Springs Center for the Arts is located at 2855 Coral Springs Drive
- Handicapped parking is available on-site at The Walk 2600 North University Drive
A free shuttle service will operate throughout the festival from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., running approximately every 15 minutes between parking locations.
Volunteer Opportunities
The Coral Springs Festival of the Arts has always relied on dedicated volunteers to help make the event successful. Those interested in volunteering can sign up at www.csfoa.org or call 954-340-5992.
Volunteers not only contribute to the festival’s success but also gain the opportunity to promote their businesses at the Chamber/Festival Small Business Booth.
