On what would have been Gina Montalto’s 17th birthday, her family spent the day donating masks in her honor.

As an act of kindness to “help keep Gina’s light shining,” Jennifer and Tony Montalto delivered KN95 masks to local first responders at three different fire stations in the area: Fire Station 42 in Parkland, and Fire Stations 71 and 80 in Coral Springs.
The Gina Rose Montalto Memorial Foundation makes charitable donations to causes Gina supported before her life was taken on February 14, 2018. The foundation chose to contribute to local fire stations because Gina’s grandfather, Luke Sherlock, spent 19 years as a Miami firefighter, eventually retiring as a captain.
Jennifer said, “It was an honor for our family to help keep these brave men and women safe in these difficult days. We only wish our beautiful daughter had been with us in person, not just in spirit, on her special day.”
