Angel {Broward Health}
In a special New Year’s celebration, Broward Health welcomed the first baby of 2025 on January 1.
Angel Velazquez Martinez, a 4-pound, 15-ounce baby boy, was born at 2:11 a.m. at Broward Health Medical Center.
According to the hospital, Angel is his mother Luz Martinez Arellano’s second child. Arellano and Angel’s father, Gerardo Velazquez Camacho, are excited to welcome baby Angel into their family.
Founded in 1938, Broward Health has been a fixture in the county for over eight decades, providing healthcare to the residents of Coral Springs and beyond.
