Bethlehem Revisited returns to Coral Springs. {First Church Coral Springs}
The First Church of Coral Springs is calling for volunteers to help bring its annual Bethlehem Revisited event to life.
The interactive experience, which recreates the ancient city of Bethlehem as it might have appeared over 2,000 years ago, relies on more than 400 volunteers each year.
Organizers are urgently seeking help with various roles, both costumed and non-costumed. Volunteers can assist with directing traffic, working concessions, managing shops, or portraying Roman soldiers, among other tasks.

Bethlehem Revisited takes place over five nights, from Friday, December 13, to Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at the First Church of Coral Springs at 8650 W Sample Road.
Hours vary by day:
Friday, Monday, and Tuesday (December 13, 16, and 17): 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday (December 14 and 15): 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
The event features a meticulously crafted representation of Bethlehem, complete with a walled city constructed from over 30,000 square feet of lumber. Attendees can explore a first-century marketplace, engage with costumed characters portraying shepherds and other townspeople, and even sign a historical census. The journey culminates in a moving stable scene, symbolizing the birth of Christ.
Bethlehem Revisited is open to all ages, and admission is free. At the end of the journey, donations are graciously accepted to support the continuation of this community tradition.
