Three local organizations—the Rotary Club of Coral Springs, the Veterans Coalition of Coral Springs, and the Coral Springs Community Chest—have partnered to host two public safety workshops this September. Both events are free, open to the public, and will be held at Veterans Hall in Coral Springs.
“This partnership between the Rotary Club of Coral Springs, the Veterans Coalition, and the Coral Springs Community Chest is a powerful example of what can be achieved when local organizations come together with a shared mission: to serve, educate, support, and protect our community. These workshops are not just events. They’re lifelines that bring vital resources and support directly to the people who need them most,” said Sal Golfo, Rotary Club member.
The workshops aim to equip Coral Springs residents with the knowledge and tools to respond to life-threatening situations and avoid becoming victims of scams. Organizers hope this collaboration marks the beginning of more safety-focused programs in the future.
“We are honored to have been invited to partner with the Rotary Club of Coral Springs and the Veterans Coalition of Coral Springs on these important workshops,” said Coral Springs Community Chest Vice Chairperson Gillian Johnson. “At the Coral Springs Community Chest, our mission is rooted in supporting the well-being of our neighbors, and this collaboration allows us to do just that, by helping to deliver life-saving education and practical tools that strengthen our community from the inside out.”
