Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who fled the scene of a crash that left two people injured in Coral Springs last week.
Witnesses told Coral Springs Police the unidentified driver was behind the wheel of a silver or light gray Toyota pickup truck involved in the three-vehicle accident, which happened Nov. 2 around 8:50 p.m.
Police said the driver fled east from the scene of the crash in the 10400 block of Sample Road, just east of West Sample Road.
Two people were injured and transported to a local hospital from the crash scene. Both are in stable condition, police said.
The hit-and-run driver’s vehicle should have minor damage to the front and driver’s sides, investigators believe.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or can identify the driver is asked to contact Officer Jason Whisnant of the Coral Springs Police Department Traffic Enforcement Unit at 954-346-1754 or jwhisnant@coralsprings.gov.
