Hundreds of candy-filled eggs will soon be hiding in plain sight as children across Coral Springs prepare to hop, scramble, and race their way through the city’s annual Hoppin’ Into Springs Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28, at Sportsplex Park.
The free event invites Coral Springs children ages 3 to 8 to participate in a traditional spring egg hunt, collecting colorful, candy-filled eggs during age-appropriate time slots.
A sensory-friendly egg hunt will be held from 9 to 9:30 a.m., providing a calmer and more supportive environment for children with sensory sensitivities.
“This event has become a springtime tradition for so many Coral Springs families,” said Parks and Recreation Director Rob Hunter. “It’s a fun way for kids to be active, connect with one another, and enjoy a safe, welcoming community event.”
All participants will receive themed sunglasses and a ticket for a free sweet treat. The event will also feature a DJ, arts and crafts, a bounce house, and a visit from the Bunny.
The event is open to Coral Springs residents only. Participants must bring their own basket and arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled hunt time.
Registration is required, space is limited, and walk-ups will not be accepted. For more information or to register, visit CoralSprings.gov/egghunt.
Sportsplex Park is located at 2800 Sportsplex Drive.
