The J.P. Taravella High School baseball team celebrated its last home game of the season by defeating Fort Lauderdale High School 11-1 and honoring its seniors.
Team captain Jack Miller, first baseman, said he has enjoyed being on the team and has many positive memories as a player.
Coach Jorge Miranda praised the seniors for their positive impact. The Trojans are 11-13 and play their final game at South Broward on April 7 at 6:30 p.m. They will then prepare for the district playoffs.
