J.P. Taravella High School students have worked tirelessly to create a musical performance honoring the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Elvis Presley.
All Shook Up features some of Elvis’ most popular hits. Sing and dance along to “Jailhouse Rock,” “Heartbreak Hotel,” “It’s Now or Never,” “Love Me Tender,” “All Shook Up,” “Blue Suede Shoes,” and more.
The play features 24 cast members and 25 technical crew members. According to the play’s director-choreographer, Lori Sessions, “All Shook Up is a high-energy show with fun dancing and great music. The students have worked hard — not only onstage — but behind the scenes building sets, designing costumes, working on lights, sound, and more.”
The musical will be held at J.P. Taravella High School at 10,600 Riverside Drive in Coral Springs on February 2 and February 3 at 7 p.m. and February 4 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Those interested in seeing the musical can purchase tickets on the school’s website. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students.
