Future kindergarten families are invited to attend an upcoming informational event at James S. Hunt Elementary designed to help parents and children prepare for the start of school.
The “Owl Be Ready for Kindergarten” event will take place on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026, with two session times available: 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. The event is open to families of children entering kindergarten in the 2026–27 school year.
According to the school, the event will give families an opportunity to meet staff members, receive registration information, and tour kindergarten classrooms.
Children must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2026, to be eligible for kindergarten enrollment.
James S. Hunt Elementary is located at 7800 NW 35th Ct in Coral Springs.
