With sweeping policy changes passed during the 2025 Florida Legislative Session, from the repeal of the Business Rent Tax to updates in housing, permitting, and workforce development, the Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce is inviting local leaders to its annual Legislative Wake-Up Breakfast to gain insight into what these changes mean for the region’s business community.
The event will take place on Tuesday, August 19, at 7:30 a.m. at the Coral Springs Museum of Art, located at 2855A Coral Springs Drive.
Featured panelists include Senator Tina Polsky, Representative Christine Hunschofsky, Representative Dan Daley, and Representative Chip LaMarca. These state lawmakers will discuss the outcomes of the 2025 legislative session and provide a preview of key issues on the horizon for 2026.
Chamber officials say the breakfast offers a valuable opportunity for business owners, nonprofit organizations, and civic leaders to hear directly from policymakers and ask questions that may affect their industries and operations.
The event is open to the public, but advance registration is required due to limited seating. Attendees can register online at www.csccrchamber.com.
The Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce serves as the voice of business in the region, focusing on economic growth and fostering a thriving and connected community through its programs and advocacy.
