Mayor Scott Brook to Host ‘Mind, Body, and Soul Summit’ in Coral Springs
May 5, 2026 • By Sharon Aron Baron
Coral Springs Mayor Scott Brook will host a community-wide Mental Wellness Summit next weekend to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and expand access to mental health resources.
The “Mind, Body, and Soul Summit 2026” is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Coral Springs Charter School at 3205 N. University Drive.
Presented by the Mental Wellness Network, the event will focus on connecting attendees with resources, education, and opportunities to engage in conversations about overall wellness. Organizers said the summit will feature numerous speakers and activities designed to support mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
This year marks the third installment of the event. The inaugural summit, previously known as “Voices of Angels,” raised more than $20,000 for Eagles’ Haven, a Coral Springs-based nonprofit that provides grief support services.
Brook is organizing the summit alongside volunteers from the Mental Wellness Networking Alliance and community partner Chris Nosowicz. The event is being held during Mental Health Awareness Month, with a continued focus on breaking the stigma often associated with mental illness.
The summit will feature a diverse lineup of speakers and professionals in mental health, wellness, and personal development, including:
- Scott J. Brook, founder of MWNA, certified trial and family law attorney
- Diana Guzman, clinical director at The Recovery Team
- Vernicca Wynter, certified social and emotional intelligence coach and mind-body medicine facilitator
- Amy Dunn, president of Mindful Buttery
- Cassandra Eubank, executive director of TEDx Miramar
- Nikki Karatzas, WeEvolve ABA
- Charlotte Friborg and NLP master practitioner
- Margie Mader, founder of Growth and Healing Wellness Center
- Sara Gorman, trauma and attachment specialist
- Hope LaMonica, founder of Hopeful Healing Health
- Stephanie Breedlove, Discovery Behavioral Health
- Dan Katz
- Mike Moshe Hen, Proctor Gallagher Institute
- Marjorie Brook, founder of Lōkahi
- Darren Bennett, Pain to Purpose LLC
- Terrie Andrews
- Anastasia Pitanova
Net proceeds from the summit will go toward helping individuals access mental health services, according to organizers.
