KPOT Korean BBQ and Hot Pot celebrated its grand opening on August 13.
The lively event included a ribbon-cutting hosted by the Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce and was attended by community and business leaders. A DJ played music to create a fun atmosphere, accompanied by drumming and lion dancing, a traditional Asian performance at special occasions.
Hugo Jiang, the owner of KPOT, enjoyed celebrating with the community and associates. “I have lived in Coral Springs for 20 years, and I am glad to be opening a restaurant here. This is a good location for a restaurant,” he said.
Customers can select hot food items from a buffet or have food prepared in a hot pot at their table with help from the wait staff. There is a full bar and music for nightlife.
Korean BBQ has a long tradition and is a popular dining tradition where guests grill a variety of meats and vegetables at the table. Hot Pot has a long and rich history in Asian culinary traditions. It began as a communal dining experience where friends and family gather around a simmering pot of broth, cooking and sharing a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, and noodles, according to the KPOT website.
KPOT is located at 9120 Wiles Road. Business hours are Sunday through Thursday, 12 p.m.to 11 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays, 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.
