New York Pickles & Company has officially opened its doors in Coral Springs, serving up a wide selection of hand-packed pickles and classic deli-style favorites — and yes, it’s a big dill.
A fan-favorite vendor known for its brined bites and bold flavors, New York Pickles & Company has officially opened its first-ever brick-and-mortar shop, located at 10261 West Sample Road, bringing its beloved pickles and fermented favorites to Coral Springs.
After years of appearing at local farmers’ markets and amassing a loyal customer base, co-owner Joe Riggins tells Coral Springs Talk that Coral Springs stood out as the ideal location for their flagship store.
“Coral Springs felt like the perfect place to open our first shop because of the strong sense of community, diverse population, and supportive local culture,” Riggins said. “It’s a vibrant city that still feels personal – exactly the kind of environment we hoped to grow in and connect with our customers face-to-face.”
The response to the store’s grand opening, Riggins said, has been overwhelming. Since opening, the store has seen a steady stream of visitors – some even traveling long distances – to get their hands on the familiar flavors.
“We’ve received so much love and support from the community. The feedback has been energizing, and it’s gratifying to see repeat faces and hear how much people are enjoying what we offer.”

While fans of the farmers market setup can still expect the same crisp and tangy pickles, the storefront offers an expanded experience with a broader selection, free samples, and a more personalized approach to shopping.
Never enjoyed a good old-fashioned New York pickle? For new visitors, Riggins recommends starting with the half-sour pickle.
“It’s the perfect balance,” he explained. “Still crisp and fresh, but with just enough tang to welcome newcomers into the world of pickling.”
So far, Riggins tells Coral Springs Talk the top sellers have been the Half Sours, traditional Sour Pickles, and Kosher Dill varieties. But the shop isn’t stopping there – customers can also find Hot Cherry Peppers, Red and Green Tomatoes, Red Sweet Peppers, and Sauerkraut, all brined to perfection.
Moreover, Riggins noted that the brand’s commitment to health and wellness has also resonated with shoppers. With a growing interest in gut health and probiotic-rich foods, many see their favorite pickle jar as more than just a snack – it’s a functional food.
“People are really excited about making healthier choices without sacrificing flavor,” he said. “It’s been a key factor in building customer loyalty and sparking interest from new, health-conscious buyers.”
Looking ahead, customers can expect even more from the brand. Riggins said plans are in place to roll out pickled fruits and deepen their involvement in the community by appearing at more local farmers’ markets and events.
“We’re incredibly proud to be a part of the Coral Springs community,” Riggins said. “Our goal is to bring something unique and memorable to the area—whether it’s through our products, our story, or the connections we make with our customers. We truly appreciate the love and support.”
For pickle lovers, health-conscious foodies, or anyone just looking for something deliciously different, New York Pickles & Company is officially open and ready to welcome you. Store hours are Monday through Sunday, open from 9:00 am to 6:00 p.m.
