Coral Springs Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who stole a woman’s iPhone from her hands while seated on a park bench.
On August 04, police responded to the 6100 block of Turtle Run Boulevard about a robbery. A 30-year-old woman said she was seated on a park bench talking on her cellphone when an unknown black male snatched it from her hands, then took off running eastbound on the sidewalk.
Private surveillance cameras recorded the male flee to a silver Nissan 4-door parked along the eastbound lane of Turtle Run Blvd and enter on the passenger side.
The female victim was unable to catch him and continued to her residence, where she notified police.
The Coral Springs Police Crimes Against Persons Unit is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the black male suspect and is encouraging those with information to call Detective Ken Johnson at 954-346-1223 or by emailing him direct at KJohnson@coralsprings.org.
