As artificial intelligence becomes an increasingly common part of classrooms and everyday life, Broward County School Board Member Lori Alhadeff is inviting parents to learn how the technology is shaping education and how to help their children use it safely.
Alhadeff, who represents District 4, will host “Back to School AI: What Parents Need to Know” on Monday, Aug. 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant, 2153 N. University Drive in Coral Springs.
The free informational session is designed to help families better understand how artificial intelligence is being integrated into Broward County Public Schools and how it is influencing learning both inside and outside the classroom.
Topics will include how AI is shaping education, ways parents can help children make smart and safe choices online, and practical strategies to support learning and creativity at home. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and hear expert insights on rapidly evolving technology.
Alhadeff, who serves on the Broward County School Board representing District 4, has been an advocate for student safety and educational innovation throughout the district.
