Wine, shopping, and dogs – the Wine & Wags event hosted by Karma Bath and Body Co. and Good Karma Pet Rescue has it all.
Held on Wednesday, June 15, from 6 to 8.30 p.m., the event allows guests to meet pets available for adoption and to learn how to get involved in volunteering or fostering.
A live raffle featuring products and certificates from local Coral Springs businesses includes gift cards to Board Yum Charcuterie, Let’s Chill Ice Cream, Casa Decor & More, and Trendy Creations.
Complimentary sips and snacks are available while guests browse stalls with products dedicated to pet needs. The vendors include Pet Wants, Paint Jo Face, Titi’s Sweet Treats, and James Joe Makes.
Karma Bath and Body Co. owner Alexandra Giordano said the event is the first of its kind, but the store and the rescue would love to make it a staple.

“We have always rescued and adopted pets. At one time, we had so many animals we were nicknamed “the petting zoo” by our neighbors,” she said. “So many animals are mistreated, unloved, dumped off at the shelters and rescues for various reasons. We feel when you adopt; you are giving this pet hope and a chance for a new life.”
Giordano added that Wine & Wags’ objective is helping the community learn about adopting and fostering pets and volunteering opportunities.
“We are hoping to raise awareness about the rescue while raising funds to help with the cost of food and medical care for the animals,” she said.
