After the sudden passing of Skip Campbell, the City of Coral Springs will be accepting applications for an interim mayor until a special election is held.
After a lengthy discussion, the commission voted 3-1 to accept applications for an interim mayor in accordance to the city charter, which said the commission may fill the seat on an interim basis. The application can be found here.
The notarized application must be returned no later than 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2018 to The Office of the City Clerk, 9500 West Sample Road, Coral Springs, Florida 33065.
