The Major League baseball draft continues Tuesday with Rounds 2 through 15 with the Milwaukee Brewers taking Alan Sharkey of Coral Springs High School in the 13th round.
Along with teammate Lewis Brinson who was just drafted by the Texas Rangers, this makes two Coral Springs High School Baseball players getting signed with the major leagues.
Sharkey said on Twitter today, “I have to thank my family my big brother, my other 3 brothers. Thanks to all my boys that believed in me and thank you to all my coaches, trainer and most of all gracia a dios.”
 Season Stats – .507 BA – .590 OBP – 10 2B – 30 RBI
Favorite Memory of the Season – “Breaking the total hits record at my school with 101.”
Credits Most for Success – “Mom and Dad, Bro and All My Coaches. Because they’re always there for me and teach what’s right from what’s wrong.”
