Several Coral Springs high schools cheerleading squads won a trifecta at this weekend’s Florida High School Athletic Association State Championships.
Coral Springs High School, Coral Glades and JP Taravella all swept the Class 2A competition with first, second and third place at the event held in Kissimmee FL on Saturday evening with Coral Springs High School winning their first ever State title, beating out former 2014 State champs, Coral Glades.
Scores are as follows:
Coral Springs Hight School 81.75 – State Champions
Coral Glades High School 80.25 State Runner Up
JP Taravella High School 75.88
Also winning runner up in Class 1A Small Division – Non Tumble was Coral Springs Charter School with 73.75 points.
These hardworking students and their coaches have made their fellow students and their principals proud.
