A fundraiser held for James Edwards will be held at Wings Plus in Coral Springs next Monday evening. Last week, $4,000 was raised in only a few hours after the Coral Springs Police, in conjunction with the restaurant, raised money for the two year-old.
On May 30, The Edwards were at the hospital for the birth of their second child when James slipped away from his grandfather and fell into the pool. His parents, Jenna and Skylar Edwards said James has shown improvement, although he still remains in the hospital.
Wings Plus owner Brian Walsh has increased the proceeds he will donate to 25 percent. Stop by and support the Edwards family and wear a green or ninja turtle themed shirt.
The event will be at the Sample Road location this Monday, June 16th from 4-11 pm at Wings Plus at 9880 W Sample Rd, Coral Springs, FL 33065.
