A two-vehicle accident sent a father and his child to the hospital with injuries.
According to Coral Springs Police, at approximately 8:18 p.m. on Thursday, a Ford F150 exited the Marquis Apartment complex traveling westbound when it side-swiped a Mercedes. The impact was severe enough to cause the Mercedes to flip onto its side.
Inside the Mercedes were a father and his child. According to witness Aiden Palmer, they cut off the roof of the Mercedes to extricate the two individuals. Following the accident, both were transported to nearby hospitals for precautionary medical evaluations.
The F150 was occupied by a single female driver, but there was no immediate information on her condition or whether she required medical treatment.
