Families are invited to a unique outdoor experience with Campout Coral Springs.
The next overnight campout will be held at the Sportsplex Athletic Field from Saturday, January 25, through Sunday, January 26, 2025. During this time, families can enjoy the great outdoors without leaving town.
Designed exclusively for Coral Springs residents, the campout offers exciting activities, including making s' mores, watching a big-screen outdoor movie, playing kickball, and accessing an on-site playground.
The fun kicks off at 11 a.m. on Saturday when campers can check in and set up their tents. The event concludes on Sunday morning, with breakdowns expected between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
To participate, families must reserve a camping space. Each spot accommodates up to four people and costs $80. The fee includes access to all activities, dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. Starting in January, additional campers can be added to a space for $20 each, with a maximum of six campers per site.
Campers must bring their own tents, sleeping materials, and chairs. Refunds will only be issued if the event is canceled.
The Coral Springs Public Safety Department will be on-site to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. The fire department will control communal campfires, and the police will provide overnight security.
Additional safety measures include making electric outlets available for inflating air mattresses and restroom access. However, showers will not be provided. Parking will be at Coral Glades High School, with campers encouraged to bring beach carts for setup and breakdown.
Pets, RVs, alcohol, fireworks, cooking at tent sites, and amplified music are prohibited to maintain a family-friendly environment.
Campers should come prepared with a tent suitable for up to six people and sleeping materials such as air mattresses, blankets, pillows, Chairs, coolers with drinks, additional snacks, flashlights, lanterns, and refillable water bottles.
Registered participants will receive additional packing suggestions closer to the event date.
Spaces are limited, so residents are encouraged to register early to secure their spots. The event will take place rain or shine, with provisions for campers to seek shelter in their vehicles in case of severe weather.
The Sportsplex Athletic Field is located at 2800 Sportsplex Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33065.
